RSVP Policy, San Francisco Weekday Hikers
If you do not plan to attend an Outing, no action is required.
Please ensure you mark your calendar when giving a “YES” RSVP so you do not forget your commitment. Not showing up when you have a “YES” RSVP is considered a “NO SHOW” and will cause a delay for the participants as they wait at the trail head for the missing people.
Plans can change for anyone and is this is of course understandable. Please make cancellations as early as possible, but no later than the night before an outing. You cancel your commitment to participate in an Outing by changing your RSVP from a “YES” to a “NO.”
RSVP “NO:” It is not necessary to RSVP "NO" if you do not plan to attend an Outing UNLESS you are changing it from “YES” to “NO”
RSVP “MAYBE:” This option is generally not used by the organizers because it counts as a "yes" in the RSVP total count. You do not need to use this option.
