Are you an adult who is the child of a personality-disordered parent - such as Narcissistic Personality Disorder or Borderline Personality Disorder? Have you been in a relationship with an NPD or BPD partner? Have you found the emotional scars have affected your ability to cope with stress, form close relationships, manage your money and work?
The aim of our group is to provide a safe, caring & supportive environment for survivors of abusive & dysfunctional NPD & BPD parents, or partners. We connect with, share and develop a support network with other survivors. We have guest speakers from various health & personal growth modalities visit us at some of our meetings to talk about how to learn new life skills and how to effectively cope with and recover from the damage a close relationship with a personalty disordered person wreaks on our hearts and minds.
We learn about how to let go of ways of relating to your BPD or NPD parent or partner that just do not work and find new ways to communicate, cope, and to live your life free of much of the pain that growing up in your dysfunctional family or being in a toxic relationship created.
The group meets the last Thursday night of each month 6.30pm to 9.00pm at an easily accessible community center in Sydney's Western suburbs. We also have occasional weekend social activities in and around the Sydney CBD.
