I know whatcha mean. Just like Mareena's predecessor Mi'kka, she didn't want to have any part of the stop and go on the gangline. She was much happier on the sidelines giving out kisses and husky hugs. I give it up to those that hung in there with their patience and hard work! Good job sled!

We had a great time at the parade! It seemed we slowed down for petting and eclipsed Santa a time or two.:) Most comments were "He is SO soft!"

Good time once again showcasing the huskies and other draft dogs for the Safety Harbor parade -- which is one of the best Christmas parades in the bay area, IMO. Probably not the best venue for newbie furballs that are foreign to being part of the sled team. There seems to be a specific challenge in start/stop with being in the parade line and going at a slower pace that isn't there when letting them pull at their normal pace around Freedom Lake, for instance.

We're on our way but we're stuck in construction traffic & can't get out of it so we'll probably be late. So sorry!

I have developed a problem with my foot and am unable to walk any great distance. Hope everyone has a great time!
Merry Christmas to all from Talli, Princess, and me.

If you are attending the parade with your dog(s) please wear a red shirt and jeans and Santa hat if you want. We have holiday wreath collars for the dogs to wear.
Some dogs will be on the gangline pulling the sled, some will be walking closer to the crowd to meet and greet.
Be sure that your dogs have a semi choke collar, sturdy leash, all necessary county tags and an ID tag attached to the collar.
You will need to bring: poopy bags, water and treats for dogs, water for yourself, comfy shoes, sturdy leash and PATIENCE!
Please arrive early to avoid the stress of not being able to get thru the barricaded streets. Get to the setup spot BEFORE noon. We will be setting up right behind the museum in the shade under the pavilion. For those of you who came last year, it is the same exact place.
If you haven't RSVP'd yet and want to come, we still have room.

Sorry that we can't make it, but it sounds like the club is positioned in a place of honor - in front of Santa and Mrs. Claus! Have fun everyone!

The more the merry. The crowds always enjoy to see the dogs up close and maybe a pet or lick :-P. So, there's always dogs walking along the pull team. Hope to see ya!
