Culinary Garden Tour at Westmont College - limited to 15 people (optional lunch)

The Westmont College Garden Project was started in the fall of 2011 and has quickly grown to provide a portion of the produce for campus dining as well as for donation to a campus meal-sharing group.  A visit to the gardens will showcase the evolution of the gardens into both an educational and community resource, as well as the many varieties of fruits and vegetables that are being cultivated.  Make sure to bring your taste buds as we will be sampling some of the fall crops!

Parking:

Best to park near the tennis courts and then we can go from there; car pool, if possible.

Cost

$5.00 to assist with your commitment. If you prefer, you can send me a check to

Gerri French PO 273 Summerland, CA 93067

Optional: Lunch at the cafeteria which will provide an opportunity to see how the garden food is marketed to the students!

Interesting and fun to see the beginnings of a wonderful garden adventure. It would be fun to return in a few years to see the growth of the trees and kiwi.

The garden is producing an amazing amount of beautiful and tasty food. Our tour led by Anthony was very informative. He enjoyed the members and answered their many questions eagerly. The water and tastings at the end was very much appreciated. Thanks

Do you know if the cafeteria, or whatever eatery takes credit cards? This way, I can withdraw cash from the ATM beforehand.

I plan to take the carpool over at the Vons and Starbucks parking lot mentioned in the event. I will be taking public transit to that lot.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
