GMO Panel and the Future of Food in Ojai

The Ojai Chautauqua is a major event targeted for the fall of 2014 at Libbey Bowl in Ojai, CA. The goal of the Chautauqua is to educate and engage the community on central issues of common concern, as well as celebrate the abundant agricultural resources of Ventura County and the state of California. This year's theme is The Future of Food: GMO’s, water, land use, corporate vs. local farming, and more.  To offer a taste of the 2014 Libbey Bowl event, the Chautauqua board is presenting the GMO Forum on February 1, 2014 at the Ojai Valley Inn

Tickets are $20 pre-sale and $25 at the door, which includes a reception following the panel discussion. For information and to purchase tickets, go to:

I'll be spending the night in Ojai so will not be able to car pool. Please communicate with each other to drive together. Let me know if anyone wants to meet at Sears to car pool; I will post at Meetup.  Gerri [masked]

Thank you for offering this event. It was a "sold out" event and well worth the drive to Ojai. Interesting to see the panel's diverse thoughts. There were many good questions from the audience.
