Free Beginners Backyard Chicken Egg Workshop

At this workshop, Gary Shaw will share his knowledge of raising chickens. His practical experience will save you from many potential mistakes. This workshop is orientated to egg production, not meat and butchering procedures. From hatching eggs, buying day old chicks, to keeping the flock healthy until the eggs start flowing are all covered. This workshop will cover several area of raising chickens. How to Prepare for them? What to do when it get hot or cold? What should I feed them? What are different tell tell sign of a happy or sad chicken? We will answer these questions and many more Come learn in these interactive workshop, taught by Gary Shaw , about the benefits of raising chickens in an urban setting. Pullet chicks, starter feed and chicken coop items will be available for purchase at the workshop!
