View Green Shorts Film Festival at Arlington Theater

The Green Shorts Film Festival was created in 2008 by local environmental groups Traffic Solutions and Community Environmental Council. The object was to bring awareness to local environmental problems and offer creative solutions through the medium of film. The festival has been very successful in its mission and in 2014 was handed off to local production companies Film Positive and Film Skillet to bring the event to a larger audience. We have rented out the Arlington theater, says Kandie Koed co owner of Film Positive and Marketing director for Film Skillet, and have expanded the call to include international filmmakers. This year’s event will feature films from seven different countries and will bring awareness and solutions to the problems that challenge our Global community. Join us April 25th at 6:30 pm to celebrate Earth Day with films that make a difference.

Tickets for the event are $5.00 and can be purchased at the door or contact Kandie Doed at [masked]-2271. They can also be purchased at the Arlington Theater or online at for an additional fee and processing fee.

Anyone will a valid student ID will be admitted for free. For additional information please contact Kandie Koed at [masked]

General Seating Tickets can be $5.00 when purchased in advance or at the doo.

    few very inspirational films produced around the world. It was wonderful to see how our ocean can respond to concrete reefs.

    Here's what I know from their website:
    General Seating Tickets are $7.90
    There is a "processing fee" of $5.25 that does not change when more tickets are ordered.
    * Purchase separately
    * One person can be responsible for purchasing a group of tickets and meet us at the door with them and charge us accordingly (somewhat risky for the purchaser)
    * You can pay $8.50 (including processing fee) at the Meetup Site and I can purchase the tickets and meet you at the door.
    Let me know your thoughts.
    They have not posted the names of the films.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
