Pick Blackberries at Summerset Farm in Santa Ynez

The luscious blackberries will be available this week! Feel free to visit the farm anytime this summer since they continually have berries to pick. We are going on this date to pick a special variety; going in the morning to avoid heat of the day. The farmer and owner of the garden shop will be able to give us a brief tour on Thursday instead of the weekend.
Children welcome; animals may need to be left in the car.
Perhaps some of us will enjoy lunch together afterwards in the valley.

Wonderful group of people, beautiful day, and the blackberries were the best I've tasted. Couldn't ask for more. We also went to the Wine Merchant in Los Olivos afterwards for an amazing lunch.

What a beautiful farm and the Blackberries are humongous! Thanks to Farmer Sally for introducing us to Summerset Farm and Dale for growing those wonderful plants for us to take home and grow! Lunch at the Los Olivos Cafe and Wine Merchant was also special sharing stories with new friends.

I was thrilled there were LOTS of raspberries, which is what I really wanted. It was kind of pricey, but I came home & made my first raspberry jam, and it is incredible! Thx to Jerri for the awesome photos. You are a photographic artist!
