The event this Thursday at the IV Coop will be a wonderful opportunity to learn about GMOs and the It's Our Right to Know campaign to label foods with GMOs ( and I will share info about how you can get involved.  Melissa will discuss the selection process for food and other products at the IV Coop such as the ethical  and political reasons in addition to flavor and convenience. We will sample tastes of fabulous food; not enough to call "dinner" for most people but there will be plenty of freshly prepared food you can purchase for a meal. There will be time to shop after our tour for seasonal local food as well as food products. Bring your empty bottles if you want to purchase bulk olive oil and vinegar; there are clean bottles to purchase in case you forget.

Currently, only 10 people are scheduled which is disappointing for such a great event.
