Thanksgiving is a time when many of us come together to be thankful for our abundance and share food and conversation with our family and friends. I received this special offer from Dr Mercloa that I thought many of you might be interested in. During this special week, you can view the documentary American Meat online for free. Perhaps it will spark stimulating conversations about how we can build a better agriculture in America.
American Meat,1 is “a pro-farmer look at chicken, hog and cattle production in America.” The film features full-time organic farmers Joel Salatin, owner of Polyface farms in Virginia; Chuck Wirtz, a life-long hog farmer; and Dr. Fred Kirschenmann, who manages a family farm in North Dakota.
Looking forward to see you on many more farm tours and other events to get together to learn more about our food system.
