Introduction

Hi! I'm Darlene. I am a Restoration Biologist and President of Santa Barbara Audubon. I'd like to invite you to come out and volunteer at habitat restoration projects in the Santa Barbara area, as well as trails projects.

In addition to myself, 3 volunteers RSVPd vis Santa Barbara Outdoor Volunteers. However, only one of those 3 showed up to help. Fortunately, we recruited from several sources. From sign-ups during the week, it looked like we might have 3-6 volunteers via Santa Barbara Outdoor Volunteers at Arroyo Hondo Preserve. We had two, both enthusiastic and interested in future volunteer workdays. Late Saturday we had a cancellation and another sign-up--which I didn't see until after the workday on Sunday. Still very helpful to our restoration efforts as it expanded our volunteer group from 7 to 9 (plus myself as project leader).
