Hey, June sketch-bugs! Ignite your creative mojo, mingle with like-minded creative folks, and draw the night away!
Join us for our annual June Sketchup—a rollicking evening of laughter, friendly banter, and intrigue (sharing stories and ideas about drawing can be delightfully mysterious, you know). Our lively gatherings have become a popular First Friday Art Tour event for anyone interested in drawing—beginners & pros alike!
"I really enjoy meeting and drawing with everyone at our Sketchups!" —Rob Court, Drawing Coach & Sketchup host
Our Sketchups: Do you enjoy drawing or curious to learn more about it? The Santa Cruz Sketchups take place in a friendly, creative studio environment. Share your ideas or phobias about drawing. Experiment with materials. Get some free coaching. Enjoy a conversation over some pencil doodles or dive into some charcoal sketches from life. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow sketchers. Got a sketchbook? Bring it along. A fun, creative evening for the whole family—and it's FREE!
We're a short distance from downtown Santa Cruz, the Tannery, and various venues participating in the festive First Friday Art Tour. Refreshments are served.
