“All of our situations are controlled by karma. So if we can control our karma, we can control our life. If you can control your life, you can control your next rebirth. That is what you can achieve from the study of the dharma.” - Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche
Join us a we discuss:
- What is karma? What are the 3 types of karma? What is pure positive karma and how can it benefit your life?
- How does karma affect our lives? How do we see cause and effect manifest in life?
- Where does karma come from? How does it form? How do our concepts/old logic in our mind shape our karma?
We welcome all new friends and those we haven't seen in a while to join us for a conversation and discussion with our Director, Michelle Fisher.Michelle has studied with our guru, Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche, for nearly 14 years, and is currently traveling and studying with him in Nepal. This will be our last webcast with Michelle until she returns from her travels, so don't miss this special opportunity! Michelle will continue our discussion of the essence of Buddhist practice, helping us understand karma, and how it affects our lives.
This evening will be a wonderful opportunity to familiarize yourself with the principles of Buddhism, no matter your level of experience. All are welcome! Hope you can join us, and bring a friend!
1651 El Dorado is a condo in a small complex on El Dorado Avenue at the corner with Capitola Rd. It can be a little hard to find the first time: walk up the driveway and look for the condo door with prayer flags!
