Manjushri Lineage throne holder, Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche has taken upon himself the mission to restore the pure tradition of the Buddha to how it was taught when the Buddha was walking the earth. The essence of his teaching is to help students connect with all Buddhas and transmit and carry on the pure Buddhist tradition.
This Sunday, Rinpoche will give the Blessing of The Thousand Buddhas practice, one of the special Manjushri Lineage practices from the set of “Vajrayana Fundamental Practices”, combined with the practice of The Thousand Buddha Sutras in Worthy Kalpa and the Tathagata Hundred Syllable Mantra. Through this practice we can receive blessing, plant a virtuous origination and connect our mind stream with the thousand Buddhas. Rinpoche will also give the oral transmissions of the mantra of Tathagata Hundred Syllable and the Avalokitesvara long mantra.
Merging the three Yanas (three sets of teachings that Buddha gave for disciples of differing capacities - Hinayana, Mahayana, and Vajrayana), Rinpoche will use the
Thousand Buddhas Sutra in Worthy Kalpa
Three States of Abiding
from Mahayana and Mantra of Tathagata Hundred Syllable and Past Seven Buddhas Mantra from Vajrayana. Rinpoche will teach how to apply the Hinayana Sutra to cultivate positive karma and the great vow and perseverance of the Mahayana Bodhisattva path. This tradition transmits the blessing of Sakyamuni Buddha and his eight greatBodhisattva disciples, the past Buddhas before Sakyamuni Buddha, and all Buddhas of the ten directions.
In recent Dharma teachings , Rinpoche has utilized different common and esoteric methods, and skillfullyhelped students to get deeper understanding of the merit, wisdom and qualities of the Buddha andBodhisattvas to help students make a personal connection with the Buddha and his disciples. Rinpoche pointed out how to cultivate the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment: First, we need to recognize and establish why we study Dharma and what the function of Dharma is. Rinpoche clearly explained how our mind is contaminated by experience and the effect of the six sense faculties, six fields of the senses, and six consciousnesses. He explained how we accumulate countless karma known as ignorance which covers thetrue nature of our pure and clear mind. We are impelled by unpredictable karma, stuck in the
of birth, old age, sickness and death, and live afflicted by worry, sadness, suffering and irritation.
He taught that by studying Dharma, we are able to start to solve these problems and control our karma, resolve worry, sadness, suffering and irritation in our life, and finally cut off birth, old age, sickness and death in future lives, and liberate from Samsara (cyclic existence) to attain Nirvana. For actually walking this path, Rinpoche's commentary on the Heart Sutra were profound and essential. He taught on emptiness and analyzed the hidden Stages of the Path to Enlightenment. Rinpoche taught how to apply the Body Mandala practice to purify and bless the body and the Heart Sutra to purify and bless the mind, and gave many secret keys to reaching achievement through your practice.
Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche
Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche was recognized as the Lineage Holder of the Manjushri Lineage at age six.Rinpoche has attended many retreats and is a great cultivator who has devoted his life to Dharma cultivation and attaining realizations, continuously studying Sutras and treatises and diligently seeking Dharma teachings. On the Sutrayana side, Rinpoche has learned broadly and mastered all the Hinayana and Mahayana Sutras thoroughly. He has extraordinary talent in logical reasoning and in grasping the essence of Dharma. Rinpoche’s Vajrayana teachings have merged the Tibetan Gelug practice with the secret treasure of his own Manjushri Lineage, taking the Gelug teaching as its foundation and structure, and Manjushri Vajrayana teaching as its essence.
It’s very difficult to find a Dharma master who has Rinpoche's ability to apply, analyze and perfectly merge both Sutrayana and Vajrayana teachings, especially in the USA and his recent teaching on the Combined Practice of Body Mandala and Heart Sutra attracted over a hundred people, many from hundreds of miles away.
New or experienced Buddhist cultivators, Buddha's disciples are welcome to attend these profound teachings.
