Meatless Monday Dinner - Eat to Help the Environment

Enjoy meat-less pizza at Woodstock Pizza! At a 10% discount! They have an incredible array of pizzas, including a variety of veggies, whole wheat and gluten-free options, nondairy cheese, salads, sandwiches, beer, and more. Something for just about everyone! Check out their menu:

http://www.woodstockscruz.com/menu.html

You pay for your food at the counter, and they will deliver it to our table(s). You can order a slice or two, or a whole pizza. They're offering our group a 10% discount for this event!

Eating with friends is fun, and even more fun if you're helping the environment at the same time. Reducing animal product consumption helps to reduce your personal contribution to greenhouse gas emissions and climate forcers, including carbon dioxide, methane, black carbon (soot), nitrous oxide, and tropospheric ozone. Plus, eating more veggies is good for you.

We'll make a reservation, so please RSVP and show up if you plan to go. To make sure our events are a success, if you're a no-show three times you won't be able to RSVP for the dinners anymore (it's nothing personal).

Hope to see you there! Multiple meetup groups are attending. If you'd like to meet more people than you're sitting next to, feel free to walk around and mingle with other tables. There will be people with a variety of eating styles at the event; all we ask is that everyone be respectful and kind to each other.

I had a great time! Friendly people and good pizza. A potluck would be fun too.

I'm not a big fan of vegan pizza. Their cheese was too stringy (is that a word?). The company more than made up for it though. Friendly conversation and a good beer, nice evening.

Very nice. Appreciate Dave's generosity in taking me there. Enjoyed talking to nice folks, and relaxing with a beer and pizza.

I finally got my new password accepted, and I saw that you sent via Cheryl (thanks to both of you!). I would love a ride, and either car or truck works great. I live by Seabright Beach on E. Cliff. If you want to email me, I am [masked]

A very nice, interesting woman in the Seabright Beach (Natural History Museum) area needs a ride because she has a ruptured tendon. If you can help, please let me know.

Woodstocks has a really good gluten free crust; I don't think they sell it by the slice, so if anyone's interested, I'd be up for splitting a pizza!

Everyone I know who's been to Woodstock's loves it! They have lots of options for special diets, too, so most people do well eating here.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
