HIKE: PINNACLES NATIONAL PARK, North Wilderness trail.

Wildflowers are happening and the sun is shining, this is my favorite local place to hike. We'll try and hit most of the trails including the North Wilderness. 16 miles and 2500', up and down, up and down and up and down, we'll need most of the day, plan accordingly. Plenty of time to stop and enjoy the views though. Water and restroom at trailhead and 1/3 way. Can get hot in the P.M. please dress in layers and carry 2 liters  H2o for the afternoon.

THIS IS A STRENUOUS HIKE, please do not sign up if you have not done a hike of this length and altitude gain.
Meet at Sears 41st Ave before 7:30 or the West side @9:00. Others use coment section for carpools.  Please say where you will meet on your RSVP.

      No problem

Sure, no problem. Rain also doesn't appear to be a problem down there and hopefully will help to keep the temps down and good lighting for pics.

We hiked Pinnacles yesterday - very meager wildflower display this year due to lack of rain. Still very gorgeous otherwise, and HOT in the afternoon.

You just have to know where to go!

I was out at Henry Coe Sunday, perfect weather, never saw anyone after the parking and more flowers there than I've ever seen, including white shooting stars. It's still a good year for flowers,we are just starting into Spring although it seams later. Flowers have their own timeline, coast should be ready soon.

This seems like a crazy long hike - anyone interested in going for a shorter hike there?

Aaron, based on the organizer update I am going to skip this event altogether! Catch ya next time.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
