I am feeling much better and plan to come out and play today, I'll be in my purple motorcycle so let's use that as a meeting point in the parking lot 3PM sharp.

I have to go out of town on short notice and I won't be back until late Saturday night. I am not going to cancel this meetup and I hope you have fun without me. Sorry I can't make it :(

Thanks for suggesting this meetup. What equipment does one need to get to play this? Once on a hike I saw people playing it and they had a large container full of discs and other stuff.

At the very least you will need a "driver" disc. Any sporting goods store will have them. Around $10 bucks a piece has been my experience. If you want to get more discs that would eventually be good. I personally have a distance driver, a mid range and a putt/approach for my discs. I also have a little bag I carry those and water in. Or beer or whatever. I have owned and lost many discs in the past. Distance or long distance driver discs are the ones usually lost. My first disc golf purchase was 2 distance drivers and a putter. I usually putt with my driver too but I am weird. Besides the discs what you will need is whatever you would want for hiking around in the woods for 2-3 hours. I usually bring a couple bottles of water. I think most people, and myself on occasion, bring a few beers. Some people leave their empties on the course so I end up carrying more trash off course than I brought with me. Hope this helps :)
