Explore Earth Day Santa Cruz!

Meet at the Meatless Monday booth and begin exploring! Lots of food, live bands, scores of different types of booths, car exhibits, beer garden, and more. It's a lot of fun, and seems to grow each year. More info:

There's lots of parking in front of the courthouse on the corner of Water and Ocean Streets. Or, ride your bike and use their valet bike parking. The event is behind the courthouse and county building.

Multiple meetup groups are attending. The more the merrier!

NOTE: Please check in at the booth so we can give you a name tag. If you wear it, it will be easier to find other people in our group if you get separated.

We were there, with the chickens and hale bales, by the electric cars. Not sure why anyone had difficulty finding us. We had Meatless Monday signs.

I did end up finding you guys. The meatless Mondays sign was tiny. We only found you because of your handsome rescue chickens that my daughter was intrigued by. I would have found you sooner if I were looking for chickens rather than a sign. I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself once I was there. I hope you had a great day!

The instructions were "look for hay bales and chickens." Everyone working the booth was wearing red meetup name tags as well.

Some people requested the online links to the flyer and poster displayed at our booth. Here they are.

Went for a short while, specifically to see SambaDa perform. But with the balance issues I've been having lately the prospect of walking unaided down a dirt path with no railing was not inviting - so my stay was short.

I only stayed to watch Sam Ada because I could not find anyone. They were great. I did see your pink hair & stripy dress. I didn't know that's what you would be wearing. I enjoyed Sambada.

Couldn't get our kids out of Easter Egg hunting event in Scotts Valley - it was above and beyond FUN for them! Proud of my City that had organized so many awesome activities for our little ones!!! Posting all pics on FB, we are definitely going to this event next year. Sorry for missing this event, Janie. Will see you on another one!

If you're arriving late, please stop by the booth to get a name tag. That can help you to find other people in the group at the event!

Every year I want to go to this event, but haven't been in quite a few years, so I will set my intention now. It helps me knowing there are some friends to meet down there.
