Another week, another walk!
The forecast says "mostly sunny" so it should be another great opportunity to roam West Cliff and enjoy sea birds, waves, surfers and other creatures PLUS some great and deep conversations. WHILE moving. Yes, you're right - this group is all about multitasking. :-)
We start at the Surfer Monument (aka the "bronze dude", NOT at the light house) and go to Natural Bridges and back. This round trip is about 4 to 4.5 miles, and it usually takes us about 1.5 hours. We usually walk at a brisk pace, so wear your fast walking shoes!
If the pace is too fast for you or you don't want to walk the entire distance - no problem. Bring a book, chose a nice bench along the way and we pick you up on our way back. Or bring a friend, start out with us and walk at a slower pace - we pick you up on the way back, too. Or... accept the challenge and bring yourself up to speed. :-)
If you are late, lost or have other questions, don't hesitate to call or text me at 408.355.8870. Also, text me if due to "overcrowding" you cannot find a parking space in the area. Happened more and more often during the last weeks due to the great surf and weather. Usually, Pelton is a good option, or the small streets off West Cliff Drive closer to downtown, e.g. Santa Cruz Ave...
If you want to come, please RSVP. I love surprises (don't we all), but it's hard to keep track of people if they just show up...
If you RSVP and see you cannot make it, please un-RSVP if possible so that we don't wait for you in vain.
That said - looking forward to walking with you again! :-)
PS: I finally managed to put the little dot on the map to the point where we meet. So if you don't know the area that well (yet), check it out!
