The Dickens Fair is a Victorian extravaganza set in the streets of Ye Olde London Towne, a fun start to the Christmas season - with the ghost of Christmas past and present wandering around to remind us! You will meet Mr. Pickwick and Oliver Twist, as well as Scrooge and Tiny Tim; there are street urchins and ladies of debatable character, pickpockets of dependable character and pubs from Olde England with more character and lots of Ye Olde English ale (as well as a fair amount of Californian, I see). There are costumes and renacting on the streets of all Dicken's favorite characters, dance halls and shows, music and merriment everywhere. And plenty of great Christmas gifts to buy for something a little different than Starbucks gift cards again!
We can figure out car pooling or convoying, but please buy your own tickets you can order them online, provide your own costumes or go as you are, costumes are not necessary! Any questions, let me know.
