This group is all about spending time WRITING in one another's company. Whether you write on your laptop or in your journal; whether you are working on a book, article, poems, journaling, or other project; whether you are published or not or don't even care to be; you are all welcome here!
We may sit in silence for periods of time as we write; we may pause and share with one another what we are working on and read out loud to each other; we may ask for any kind of feedback we want; we may go off on tangents from there and laugh and share with each other; we may return to our writing and repeat the cycle all over again.
This group is an opportunity to have "same room" time with other women who love to write. The term "same room" was introduced to me by a dear girlfriend - it's sharing the same space with each other and being fed by that companionship, even if we spend the entire time in silence.
If you love to write, if you love hanging out with women, and if you are inspired to have more of both in your life, come join us. We do need a room of one's own (thank you Virginia Woolf) and we also need rooms to share with each other.
I look forward to sharing "same room" time with you all!
PS - The picture for this group came from Anna Mora and this is what she says about Wild Women, "Wild women (or La Loba = wolf women) – a term taken from Clarisa Pinkola Estees’ book titled ‘Women Who Run With Wolves’ refers not to women who are hysterical and ‘out of control’, but to women who are in touch with their real feminine self, with their intuitive lives and inner truth, with their own creative side, women who embrace and celebrate the ‘death-life-death’ cycle, ‘grassroots’ women... and so on...
