Growing and evolving our consciousness is what we are here to do on this planet. Recognizing the unity of all life, as proclaimed in all spiritual and humanist traditions that call for compassion and the celebration of life. The former leader preferred to focus on "actions" and I am not so much of that ilk. In the spirit of New Thought, the perfectness of our world is already there when we can grow into aligning with it, allowing it.....We do not have to shoot the darkness in the head, but turn on the light....Maybe that is an action...?! Anyway....
The basic tenet is a consciousness based on the inseparability of all life, i.e., that everything is connected and that therefore our well being is the well-being of everyone. This consciousness we believe cannot be just passive, otherwise it would remain irrelevant, it has to be expressed for the benefit of all through service that improves life for all mankind. (from Jim--While I kind of agree with that, what constitutes "Service" or "Action" is something we might profitably discuss.
Let me say here--I am not a Coach, A Spiritual Coach, an Executive Coach, a "Healer", I am not selling any product or service (OK, except I would love you to look at Southwestern College's website, but that is not a personal gain kind of thing...) Too many "Spiritual Entrepreneurs" getting on Social Networking forums and instead of bringing and demonstrating value, sincerity, they are selling the sizzle before we have even the SLIGHTEST notion of the nature of their steak.
I am an inner city, Cleveland kid who comes across this Consciousness business later in life, at least in any kind of intentional and directed way. I am excited as hell, passionate about New Thought and wanting to make a difference.
I think this "physical meet up" idea may be slightly archaic? I get that it would be fun, AND it seems that it does not work that well so far....maybe an online chate group here with face to face meetings as wanted or needed or maybe they are dyads who resonate with each other and want to meet at San Francisco Street Starbucks, or Tribes...? I have no expectations, but want to offer an invitation to not let this thing die yet....
Hope to hear from some of you.....

OK, so I decided to sign us up for another 12 months of "Meeting Groups", even given that the meetings have had only 3 or 4 people attending. It seemed worth having at least a conversation over time, over this medium, to see what we WOULD be williing to attend or interested in attending. Read more
This group doesn't have any additional upcoming Meetups scheduled.
