Spiritual Poetry Meetup

We will get together again Saturday January 11th to start off the new year!   We will be meeting at Acupuncture & Beyond in Westwood, to share spiritual poetry, light refreshments, and talk about what the poems mean to us.  This is a relaxed and welcoming space to meet and get to know others who share a love for poetry and for that which connects us more deeply with spiritual life, whatever our spiritual path or personal history.  Our sharing allows us to get to know each other on a level beyond the surface, and it is wonderful to truly meet each other in this way.  Bring a book of poems or choose a poem from the many books we have on hand – you can read a poem, share copies of a poem, or just listen and chat – whatever feels comfortable.  Feel free to bring a small snack or finger food if you wish.  (P.S. For the poets among us, we are grateful to you for bringing your insights and heart-knowledge to our group, and for understanding that this is a place to share others' poems, not our own.

Date & Time: Saturday, January 11th, 4:00pm

Location:

1700 Westwood Blvd., Los Angeles 90024

Acupuncture & Beyond is near the southeast corner of Westwood Blvd and Massachusetts Avenue.  There is free parking on nearby streets and in the adjacent lot.

It is such a wondrous time to deeply connect with people and hear their thoughts, their interpretions, and have an eye into the variety of perceptions mere words can evoke.

Unless I am able to find a carpool person, I will not be able to come. I can not drive at night due to eye challenges. I will look forward to the time change!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
