After spending four years chasing a single image on a personal project, Jak developed a unique understanding of the creative process of photography. He will speak about identifying your goals as a photographer and how to build a unique portfolio born of your passions and personality.
Do your photographs stand out in the crowd? Does your portfolio have an identifiable style? Are you creating images only you can make?
Jak is an award-winning photographer whose work has appeared in National Geographic and other national magazines. He works primarily outdoors for clients who appreciate an earthy and adventurous aesthetic. While his subjects include cowboys, stallions, vineyards, and white-water rafting, he is most recognized for his soulful portraits, both human and animal. In addition to editorial and commercial photography, Jak develops and teaches exclusive, small-group workshops throughout North America.

There will be a salon for up to 10 images. Jak said that it might be good if you pick an image that you really love – whether or not it is “perfect”. He would like to have a dialog with the photographers, not just do a critique.
Please join us in welcoming our presenter for the evening, Jak Wonderly.
Prior to the program is a class on Photoshop Elements, at 5:30 pm. All are welcome.
