This will be a special all-day, male figure drawing experience!

I hope to provide an opportunity to submerge into a full day of drawing, a chance to reflect on goals, and a session where we can learn from each other.

Here are the details:

1) Participants should come to the session with a focus (or two) in mind. Your focus could be "element" driven (line, shape, texture, color, etc.), or artist inspired (Modigliani, Bischoff, Durer, or anyone else you find inspiring), or the focus could be determined by materials (working with pastels, ink, collage, watercolor, etc.).

2) We will have two different models, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with a half-hour lunch break.

3) We will have a 1/2 hour self-critique at the end of the day, where each participant will have the opportunity to talk about his own work.

4) My studio space is small, so I can only accommodate five artists (including myself). The cost per participant will be $48, which includes two models and lunch. I'm setting this up as a pre-pay RSVP.

I hope that this event will appeal to those of you who are wanting to stretch your figure drawing experience a bit.

Please RSVP early, so that I can book the models knowing that I will have enough participants to cover their fees.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
