Santa Clarita Salsa

Love Latin Dance or want to learn? We have two classes for you and your family and friends. No partner is required and no experience is needed. Wear dance shoes, smooth leather soled shoes, or smooth souled tennis shoes.

Wednesdays

Casino salsa (Cuban style) at the Courtyard Marriott, 28523 Westinghouse Place, Valencia, CA 91355 (off of I-5 near Newhall Ranch Road). 7-8 beginners, 8-9 intermediate. $5 per person.

Casino is great for timing, performing teams, and transitions easily to bachata and cumbia.

Thursdays

Jonathan teaches for the City of Santa Clarita, Parks and Recreation. Classes are six consecutive Thursdays. The next series starts 12 January, 2012 from 7:30-8:30 pm. This session will be bachata, cumbia, and merengue- the foundations of modern Latin club dances. $40 for the series. Sign-up through the Seasons catalog. Go on-line to City of Santa Clarita Seasons:

Saturdays

LA Style salsa is taught in the summer (usually June through September)at among several local restaurants.

Casino Performing Team- we perform at local and sometimes national/international congresses. this is the best way to get detailed instruction, learn complex and simple pattens, and inspire and contribute to our local community.
