The 4PM meetup time is understandably inconvenient for most people. I attempted the 6-8PM time but it was challenged by the agenda. During the initial planning of restarting the fab lab and developing the Suncoast Science Center, the advisory committee is composed of corporate and local government supporters. At this phase of organizing ideas and funding, accommodating this support requires earlier meetings. A passionate and dedicated committee will make possible what the GWIZ Science Museum failed to do: Succeed! As soon as the lab opens, we'll have a day and time for everyone to make the fab lab a hub of creativity. In the meantime, I'll provide a specific agenda for each meetup and upload notes for members who are unable to attend. Please stay informed as the coolest makerspace in the Southeast prepares to open in the next few months! I look forward to meeting those who can attend to learn about the fab lab and the Suncoast Science Center. Thanks!

Eric, Can you post the floorplans here or elsewhere after the meeting for comments from those interested who cannot attend? Thanks.

      Will do! Thanks!

I cannot make this time as well. If at all possible consider that many of us work during the week which would make meeting up before 5pm difficult. I'm only speaking for myself. Look forward to the next meeting.

Restarting the fab lab has its challenges when it comes to scheduling and organizing meetings. The lab is part of Sarasota Scientific Instruments, a 501c(3) non -profit. The Thursday meeting will be briefer than scheduled because of agenda changes with the hosting SSI organization. SSI advisory council is meeting to develop the new Suncoast Science Center and will be having a workshop about website design. The subcommittee for the fab lab will meet for about 20-30 minutes starting at 4:00. I will share floorplans and status of the fab lab. This meeting will be short and the next meeting will be for the full 2 hours. You're welcome to stay and learn about the new science center! Thank you.

Unfortunately, I can not meet at that time. Please keep me posted for the next meeting. Thank you.

Hi Stephanie! Yes, No, and hopefully, Yes. This was posted by Eric on the 2nd of July, I think. It definitely would be amazing and I'm looking forward to the meeting. We also are homeschoolers, although the "kids" are 21 and 18 now. I'm thinking home'scool is for a lifetime. See you there!
