Interested in Honey Beekeeping and Honey Production? Come to the workshop on Saturday, Feb 23rd at the Sarasota County Extension Office from 9:00 am to noon - see details below. This workshop is intended to teach you the basics and demonstrated beekeeping and honey equipment, as well as inform you about the implementation of the "Beekeepers Protection Bill" of 2012. This bill gives the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) exclusive authority to regulate beekeeping, apiaries and their locations, including backyard beekeeping regulations in residential areas. Come to this workshop to enhance your Permaculture skills
