Growing in Small Spaces - Container Gardening Workshop

This workshop addresses soil types, a variety of containers, and will also describe design elements of what plants to use including plant height, texture, and color to create pleasing combinations of vegetables, flowers, and herbs.

The program will begin with a demonstration of how to assemble a container garden from two five gallon buckets.

Bring two useable five gallon buckets and swap for an assembled gardening bucket.

This is a FREE workshop and will take place from 1:00 - 4:00pm. Please call the Master Gardeners at (941)[masked] to register or register online.

Any possibility or suggestions for growing at a condominium? I'll be moving into one soon and don't know what is practical. I suppose a lot depends on the management of the condo. Thanks

If you have a porch you can cut some 55 gallon drums in half and use them as planters.
