We are gardeners with a passion for growing all kinds of tropical fruit and sharing our knowledge, our fruit, and our plants.  There's an amazing variety of fantastic tasting tropical fruit.  Have you ever tried an atemoya? A nispero?  Mango, lychee, papaya, avocado, longan, sugar apple, pomegranate, and citrus galore - the list goes on and on....... they can all be grown right here in Sarasota.  Don't have a yard? No problem. There are many tropical fruits suitable for container growing on your patio.   This group is for anyone who has an interest in learning more about growing rare fruit, from beginner to expert.   All are welcome!  Bienvenido!

Any first time visitor can come and listen to a talk at no charge.   However, in order to have quality speakers we have to pay their travel expenses, so we offer our guest speakers a modest honorarium.  Because this is our biggest budget item we charge a $5 fee for repeat guests.  However if you like what you hear we recommend you join us - our annual dues are only $20 per person or $30 per couple.   Life membership is $100 per person.   Hope to see you at our next meeting.

We now meet at the Sarasota Garden Club at 1131 Blvd. of the Arts, adjacent to the Hyatt Hotel.   Seeyathere!
