Single Moms have to do it all. We have to be anyone and everyone at anytime. At times, the challenges of being Wonder Woman can be somewhat hard to overcome without some extra support from others who understand your situation. There is strength in numbers. I'm a SM of four kids ranging from 9 to 20. I had been searching for a Single Mom's support group in the North Atlanta area for a couple of years now, and then the bright idea came to me to start my own. I understand how lonely this venture can be despite the lack of time we actually have to be lonely. I'm looking for other single Mothers with the same need/desire to have that extra support. Let's get together and share ideas, let our kids hang out, go out for a much needed "ladies night" on the town, or just be there through a tough situation for a fellow SM. We'd like to focus on meetup venues close to home, but from time to time may branch out to our neighbors in other Metro Atlanta communities (Alpharetta, Roswell, Marietta). So, if you have any suggestions for future events or would like us to plan something in your area, please feel free to post your idea. This is YOUR group! ;)
