Suggestions for improving our meetings?

In this thread, please make whatever suggestions you may have for improving our meetings.

Would you like our discussion meetings to be more structured? Less structured? If more structured, how?

Currently, most of our meetings begin with a round of introductions, after which we proceed to discuss a topic. At some meetings, one person is the "expert" (relatively speaking, at least) on the announced topic and does most of the talking. At other meetings, there is no main speaker, just a discussion amongst all of us.

From 2004 to 2009, our meetings did not even have announced topics but were just informal social gatherings. In 2009, we decided to have most of our meetings be discussions on announced topics. (We still hold occasional informal social gatherings too.)

If you have any thoughts on how our meetings could be improved, please post them here.

Please note: This group does NOT hold rituals, because this group aims to welcome Satanists, Luciferians, Dark Pagans, and LHP Occultists of all (law-abiding) kinds, and there is no ritual that can suit all the many different kinds of Satanists, Luciferians, Dark Pagans, and LHP Occultists. Thus, all our meetings are either discussions or informal social gatherings.

I think that maybe if we have a somewhat organized Agenda for our discussions, it can help us organize what important points we would like to make sure we address during the course of the discussion. So it can help us stay on track and not veer too much offtopic and to make sure we address all the material that we wish to discuss in the allotted time that we have. It doesnt have to be too structured, but I would say we should at least pace ourselves more efficiently to make sure that we dont concentrate too long on a tangent and end up not having time to address the main points that we wanted to address.
