Now that I have the DVD, there's no excuse! Though The film is well worth watching - and I'm told there is a 3rd one I have to look up - it only lasts... 70 minutes? So most of the afternoon, we could game!

Phoebe and my collection is limited to Smallworld, Killer Bunnies, several versions of Risk and Trivial Pursuit, vanilla Settlers of Catan, Munchkin: Conan, and a couple other card games: feel free to bring your favorites along.

As always, we're the yellow two-story on the corner; looking forward to seeing everyone - and the movie!

The third one is good, but not as good as Dorkness Rising. I'll see if I can grab some of my games and bring them along...I think I have at least one I'm sure no one has seen before (because it's been out of production since the 1970s and I had to buy it on Ebay!).

Sounds great! You mention ancient out of production games: it reminds me, I'm going to have to steal my grandmother's copy of Lie, Cheat and Steal. http://boardgamegeek.... Board game geek is 50/50 on it, but I always thought it was fun: and it's always fun when something vintage still has an applicability and ring to it long after it was made. :-)

Pride is this same day. http://www.savpride.com/#!pride-schedule shows a schedule for the day, though without any explanation of what each event is. Speeches? Comedians? Musicians?

I researched a handful of the names there and it appears to be primarily a music festival - though it's not really my cup of tea, their agenda has them going until 9 PM, and I'd be happy to orchestrate the movie at a time which allows whomever would want to go to Forsythe the ability to go at a time they pleased.
