Introduction
I am very glad that this group was started. I remember seeing the body of a young teen who was shot behind my school bus in 1989 and it's sad that things have not changed. I hope that our group will have a positive impact on the community.
Do you have any suggestions for preventing youth violence in Chicago?
Yes, having more involvement from the churches. Reverends (esp. the famous ones) need to mirror Dr. Martin Luther King by having large marches through crime-ridden neighborhoods.
