Welcome to our group! Say Kimchi is a fun, safe and exciting environment to exchange language and culture. Our language exchanges consist of practical Korean/English language practice and discussions on life in Korea/Canada. Language exchanges are a fun way to make new friends and practice your Korean or English :)
If you are visiting or studying in Toronto (or plan to visit or study in Korea), I would recommend joining our group to help better understand the differences in the two cultures (i.e., tipping), improve your language skills (i.e., pronunciation), and to network and make friends (because why not?) with our extensive member list.
Say Kimchi
Looking forward to meeting you,

**Due to the very nature of our meet up, we find it more often than not, difficult to accept applications from beginners in either Korean or English. You MUST already know English grammar or Hangul - consonants & vowels etc and some basics of the language you want to learn. We will use our discretion to place you accordingly. This will be determined with the inclusion of your introduction field and other various tests**
We get about 5 - 10 applications a day. As such, sometimes it takes a few days. Please message me if you are not approved within 5 - 6 days.
A full orientation will be given to you in detail upon coming to our meet ups. It makes it more of a personable approach as opposed to having you read an endless page of blabber =D
