To rev up this new season, we will start with an introductory session for all of you attending the Coursera course and for all of you who still haven't taken the leap into scala.

This session is also open to PRO's in the scala world. Come and show off, meet the newbies, teach your craft!

Be ready to learn and to teach!

The contents will be:
19'00-20'00 Brief intro to scala (talk)

Meetup will be at the MOB (Makers of Barcelona) office space:

It was awesome !!!! I was amazed all the time about Scala capabilities.
Ignasi and Jordi were a very dynamic, plain language and sometimes funny presentation.

Btw!!! Those of you bringing laptops, try to get JDK 1.6 or 1.7, scala-IDE (bundle may be better than extension) and (optionally) SBT.
