My first major was in biology, mostly because I loved insects. Had to switch to physics when I found I had no memory for all those worms. Like worms anyway.
When I was in the 5th grade I had to write a report. I chose to write on honeybees. It turned out to be a long, detailed report complete with pictures cut and pasted from magazines. Got an A+. Been in love with insects ever since.
I'm a retired Boeing employee. Relocated to the PNW in 1989 from the Philadelphia area. I have an AS in Physics, but have always had an interest in biology.
