The holidays are upon us, and it never really feels like the holidays until you have dressed up as Santa. Join us as we get decked out in Santa gear, and head to
SantaCon is an annual mass gathering of people dressed in Santa Claus costumes (or elves, reindeers, Christmas trees, etc) parading publicly on streets and in bars in cities around the world. The focus is on spontaneity and creativity, while having a good time and spreading cheer and goodwill. SantaCon incorporates elements of a flash mob in the context of cheerful bawdy and harmless behavior, the singing of naughty Christmas carols, and the giving of small gifts to strangers. I participated in it a couple years ago, and it was so much fun!
The itinerary is not posted yet (it will be released a few days before), but it starts at 10am. We will be meeting at 9:45am at a designated location that I will post when the start location is announced. I recommend meeting at this time with us, since there will literally be thousands of people dressed in Santa costumes, which makes it quite difficult to find someone.
This is a free event, and a good time, so I hope you will join us!
