Hometown: Washington DC

I'm from Wisconsin, went to school there but in 2000 left for NYC. I went to grad school at Columbia and moved to DC where I worked in Higher Ed. In 2007 I started teaching high school. I love it and can't wait to start teaching in The Bronx. I love to go out to lounges, enjoy restaurants, and am forever reading and attending poetry events. Fashion is a big part of my life and I can't wait to be able to shop. I am also really committed to volunteerism and will always attend an event supporting education or homelessness, two issues near and dear to me.
Both sound great!
I will! I hope to meet and build real relationships with the group members. I believe in building friendships that go beyond the surface.
I'm relocating back to NYC and can't wait to reconnect with the city I love!
It was a great brunch and then a nice walk around SoHo. See you ladies soon!
