What we’re about

This is the SF Bay Area branch of the Non-profit international organization Schola Saint George: www.scholasaintgeorge.org

We study and practice the "Arte d'Armizare" (Art of Armed Combat) of 14th-15th century European medieval master of arms Fiore dei Liberi, every Sunday afternoon in Cuesta Park, Mountain View. Included in this martial system is medieval unarmed grappling, dagger, longsword, and spear.

Schola Saint George has been training, studying and teaching medieval martial arts since the year 2000. On MeetUp.com we started our first group in January 2009 and this current group is our new Meetup site as of January 29, 2012 onwards

Beginners welcome. No previous experience nor equipment necessary - we can lend you practice weapons and basic safety equipment. You will find us a friendly and welcoming group and safety is our priority.

Your instructor is Schola Saint George President Colin Gabriel Hatcher.

Look for us between the tennis courts and the bocce court. By the bench under the redwood trees!
