Special Charity Screening of Joss Whedon's Serenity

Save the date! Philly's CSTS 2013 will be held from 2 to 6 pm on Sunday, July 14th at The Rotunda at 40th and Walnut.

In case you didn't know, Can't Stop the Serenity (CSTS) is a yearly screening of the movie "Serenity" to raise money for the charity Equality Now, and is held in many cities around the world. We'll be raffling off great prizes and will be having music and other entertainment in addition to the movie. More details to come as we get closer to showtime. We hope to see you there!

I had a great time and hope others did as well. Looking forward to the Dr. Horrible screening in October.

Hi Charles. Sorry for the last minute notice, but I happen to have a ticket I could pass to you. Think you can make it with an hour and a half notice? If so, I'll email you my ticket.

At this time this event is SOLD OUT. While I am sorry for those who are unable to attend, on the bright side this is the first time we have sold out this particular venue. Perhaps next year we will have it in a different venue with more capacity. And look for the Dr. Horrible screening in October. Another great and fun time.

My wife and I will attend; Steve and Diana. Where do I buy our tickets? At the browncoat web site?

You can send PayPal donations to [masked] and specify it is a donation for Equality Now. Sorry you can't make it. Maybe you can make the Doctor Horrible screening in October.

Oh, and hopefully you can make it next year. Watching at home is fun, but our edition is the "special hell" custom version. Add loads of pleasure to the movie.

Hi, couldn't get the money together in time for a presale, had a bank issue, but I still want to come. any chance of holding 2 tickets at the door? If not, then I guess I can't make it, which is a shame, because both of us love Joss's work.

I'm afraid the only tickets left are a limited number of standing room only tickets which will be sold the day of the event on a first come first served basis.

Something came up last minute and I can't attend. Please release my ticket for sale, and keep the $10 I paid as a charitable donation to Equality Now. Thanks!

I've let the ticket people know. Sorry you can't make it. Your donation is appreciated.

I'm fighting with a head cold right now. If I'm not better before Sunday I'll give away my ticket to an appropriate miscreant.

Last day for presale tickets. I understand there are less than 30 remaining. Get 'em while the getting is good!

Just a reminder for those of you who have not yet purchased a ticket online. You might want to do so... capacity of the venue is around 100 or so people and between this group and the Nerd Herd group, we account for 60% capacity. With the other promotions we are doing we might actually fill the place. You might want to get your ticket online to ensure you have a seat.

I know some might say they would rather pay the extra $5 at the door for charity and I think that is great. But if we sell out you won't be giving anything and you could always take the $5 you save to buy raffle tickets for some of the shiny items we have available. So your money would go to charity anyways.

So if you want to be sure to get in (hey, I already bought my ticket), go to http://www.cstsphilly.webs.com/ to grab your ticket.

    Let's aim to misbehave...

Tickets are available for this event. Go to http://www.cstsphilly.webs.com/ and click the ticket icon on the right side of the page. Payment is via Paypal. $10 advanced ticket price or $15 at the door. $10 at the door for those with valid student IDs. However I would suggest buying ahead of time since the venue has limited capacity and I'd hate to see anyone turned away.
