We are a group of volunteers who organize and teach after-school science and technology workshops for middle school kids in San Jose, CA. Working with the Castillero Education Foundation, we share our knowledge of science and technology to add depth and breadth and inspiration for middle school kids. Our program is a year and half old and we're now expanding it to offer new topics, including 3D printing, cloud technologies, an introduction to the cardiovascular system, understanding search engines, and other fields. We're encouraging new volunteers with a background and a passion for science and technology to join and help the community.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
