What topics are most important and unique in your Science Fiction?

Trends in technology and the social implications of our scientific advances are heavy themes in my Science Fiction.

What forms of Science Fiction are you working on now, and what are the working titles or project names of your Works In Progress? Feel free to tell us about your finished pieces and publications, too, and new material you’re looking to use.

The Science Fiction I am currently working on is a novel which involves the supernatural and police work. It's about a murder in San Diego in the year 2000. I have no police background but I do my best with the resources I can find.

3. What would really excite you as our colleague, if we did it with you?

I am bound to the after hours time-slot. I work M-F at UCSD from 8:00am - 4:30. Truly, weekends are best, or maybe Monday or Wednesday evenings, but I am up for getting together informally to hash out plots and develop characters for my or your stories.

Our members-only Roster details everyone’s specialties, titles, and artwork, so we get the most out of brainstorming with each other. It’s available to any member who puts their own name and direct email (outside Meetup) into the Roster.

Introduction

My name is Daniel and I am currently working on my first novel. I work a day job for the University and have a very busy family schedule. I write science fiction and love it.

What Daniel is saying about this Meetup Group

Fantastic group of imaginative, real thinkers. I got more work done to my storyline on my first sitting in meeting than in the last 3 weeks! Inspiring group of motivated writers.
