Evidence for the Higgs Particle? and if not what else?

A SPUR-OF-THE-MOMENT MEETUP! HOPE YOU CAN COME.

The Large Hadron Collider and CERN have recently found tantalizing evidence of the long sought after Higgs Boson - the particle which theorists hope to show is the source of mass for all other particles of matter. The evidence is not yet certain enough, but if it isn't found soon, there are some real challenges ahead for our best models of the subatomic universe. Join a small group of us tonight at Cafe Cabaret. It's a nice, audible discussion atmosphere, and if you don't find parking on the street, there's always Rite Aid a block down (park in the back lot). Heide and Ander will be there and we hope more of you can join us.
