Skootoberfest! 5 Year Anniversary!

Our fifth year anniversary for our Oktoberfest themed fall ride. This always seems to be our most fun and relaxed event of the year... Brats on the grill, traditional Bavarian Oompah music, Oktoberfest themed scooter games, and a beautiful group ride to check out the area's best fall foliage make up this festive day! The ride will end at Flatiron park for exclusive scooter parking and the hilarious scooter game "Brat Bite". From there, everyone is welcome to leave their scooters in the park and check out Lake Geneva's 22nd annual Oktoberfest Celebration on Broad St. or Sprecher's Oktoberfest located right across the street from the park. Both events are really fun and will have food, live music, fall games, and Sprechers will even have beer boots of their awesome Oktoberfest brew! As always we will have prizes for "Best Dressed Bavarians" so break out the Dirndls und Lederhosen and get into the festive spirit!

The weather forecast is looking good (70+ degrees) and this event is FREE to all so come on out and spend some of your fall season scootering with the Scoot Jockeys! Event starts at . . .

Midwest Action Cycle - 251 Host Dr. Lake Geneva, WI

Schedule . . . .

Saturday October 12th

11am to 12pm  -  Stretch your legs, catch up with friends, grab a brat off the grill and enjoy some traditional Bavarian music while the Oktoberfest themed Gymkhana gets ready to start. Bratwurst, mini pretzels, hot apple cider, soda and water will be for sale at the event.

12pm to 1pm - Oktoberfest themed scooter games start. All are welcome to test their skills in our "Gymkhana" and "Beer Wench" scooter games. The Gymkhana is a timed obstacle course. Best time with the least penalties wins a prize. The Beer Wench is a 2 player game where one person drives and the passenger throws beers at thirsty patrons to try and accumulate points. Both are easy and everyone is welcome to try them....  Lunch will still be served during games.

1pm to 3pm - Group Ride to view the area's best fall foliage. After the games around 1pm we will all embark on a hand picked route to check out the colors. Because the weather is looking good it will be about a 1 1/2 hour ride with a break in between. This ride will be 50cc safe as long as your scoot can hold 35+mph. Everyone will get a map and directions so you can go at your own pace.

3pm - Ride ends at Flatiron Park for exclusive scooter parking, "Brat Bite" and the Oktoberfests.... We have Flatiron Park rented for this event so all riders get to park their scooter in the park on the grass for free until 8pm. The "Brat Bite" game is pretty simple but it's hilarious! One person drives while the passenger tries to get a bite (while moving) of a cooked bratwurst hanging from a string! Winners will get prizes and a free brat just for participating. After the game check out Lake Geneva's Oktoberfest located on Broad and Main St. and Sprecher's Oktoberfest located right across the street from the park where they have DAS BOOT! From there, everyone is on their own so kick back and enjoy the festive afternoon.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
