Want to spend a little time with friends, have lots of fun, and eat great Mexican food? Then how about joining us for an AZ-S ride around Roosevelt Lake on this Sunday, the 24th of November? This will be about a 200-mile round trip (one of the most scenic in Arizona) from the corner of Shea Blvd. and SR87. All two wheelers, three wheelers, and four wheelers are welcome.
We will depart from the Shell Station in Fountain Hills (17125 E. Shea Blvd.) at 10:00 AM, and ride north on SR87 to its junction with SR188. From there we will head down past Lake Roosevelt and stop for lunch at Guayo’s On The Trail, just north of Globe. For anyone who has not eaten there, their green chili stew alone, makes the trip worthwhile. From Guayo’s we will link up with US60 in Globe, ride through Superior, and be back in the Valley by mid-afternoon.
Please be at the Shell station by 9:45AM so we can form up, if necessary, in groups according to riding style (leisurely, or not so much). Since the weather forecast is showing a moderate chance for rain, please check this Website before you set out Sunday morning for an update as to whether we are going or not.
