Bring water, sunblock, a hat, sunglasses, and any gear you've got. We have bats, balls and even an extra mitt or two. Sometimes we hit a bar afterwards for food and drinks, so stuff a $20 in your sock. The fields are alcohol-free for all games unless noted. NO METAL CLEATS, PLEASE.
EVERYBODY IS WELCOME! (...except whiners, poor sports and your kids.) We pick teams playground-style and rotate as evenly as possible. These events are always co-ed.
THIS IS NOT A TEAM. There is no league, no set players, and (generally) games are free. If you'd like to join a team, start one! Use the member list and the message boards to find other people hunting for a team. If you'd like to organize a pick-up game at a time other than Sunday, email me the deets and I'll post it on the calendar.
Please read the message boards. If you e-mail me with a question that is already answered there I won't reply. Sorry! Life's too short and I don't get paid.

Just a fun get together to practice some softball. If we have more than 12 we can play a pick up game, if we have fewer than 12 we smack some balls around and just practice. Either way: FUN.

I do not pay to reserve fields. It worked well this way last fall, winter and spring, and we rarely had problems. If we arrive and all the fields are full, we move parks. Read more
