Welcome, Scottsdale Softball Players!

We've been meeting every Sunday in Scottsdale for the last year to play an informal Sunday pick-up game. We usually have between 12-20 folks show up (no matter what the RSVP list says). If we have 12 we play cutthroat, 16-20 we play a full game. Fewer and we do batting practice, fielding, etc. since most of us play on local teams during the week. We generally have a good enough time that normal folks never complain--come join us!

SUNDAYS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL THE WEATHER COOLS OFF!

Bring WATER, SUNBLOCK, A HAT AND SUNGLASSES, and any gear you've got. We have bats and balls to share and sometimes an extra mitt or two as well. Sometimes we hit a bar afterwards for food and drinks, so stuff a $20 in your sock. The fields are alcohol-free.

NOTE: We DO NOT pay to reserve the field. The once or twice we haven't been able to find an open field we've moved to another nearby park... or the bar!

EVERYBODY IS WELCOME! (...except whiners, complainers, poor sports and your kids.)

THIS IS NOT A TEAM. There is no league, no set players, and no fees. If you'd like to join a team, start one! Use the member list and the message boards to find other people hunting for a team. If you'd like to organize a pick-up game at a time other than Sunday, email me the deets and I'll post it on the calendar.
