Just a fun get together to practice some softball. If we have more than 12 we can play a pick up game, if we have fewer than 12 we smack some balls around and just practice. Either way: FUN.

EVERYBODY IS WELCOME!

I do not pay to reserve fields. It worked well this way last fall, winter and spring, and we rarely had problems. If we arrive and all the fields are full, we move parks. If you are one of the first to arrive and the dugouts are locked, you can call the sports office nomber (listed on the dugout) and they will unlock an open softball field for free.

We always play at Chaparral fields in the quad, because those are the most likely to always be open. If you have a suggestion of a park or field that you KNOW is open, please let me know.

Because we are not paying to reserve a field, we do not have liquor permits. Please leave your boozin' for after the game.

Although the event is on the calendar for every weekend, I do not always attend! Please play well with others. If you have a problem you can always email me afterwards and I can try to help you sort it out.

NITTY GRITTY:
- Games from 6 to 9. Everyone plays two games. You may have to sit during one game, and during a couple innings per game, too. Please don't whine: Refer to Rule #3.

- I try to do things as fairly as possible, while trying to accommodate the various and plenty special requests from people that need exceptions. Everyone, regardless of skill, sits equally and takes turns as fairly as possible. This isn't kindergarten, and it ain't pro ball either. Please consult Rule #3.

- $5 PER PERSON to pay for the field, lights, beer permit, etc. You can paypal it/amazon it ahead of time, or you can bring a fiver to the game. If you're doing the math and think I'm making money at this... See Rule #3.

- Bring your own gear. We'll have game balls and some bats.

- Bring your own libations... beer, water, etc. Booze needs to stay in the dugout for the duration.

If I see over 30 RSVPs by Thursday night I'll try to reserve a second field and have a couple games going at once. I can't do anything if everyone RSVPs the day before or the morning of. PLEASE RSVP so I can get an accurate headcount. Other than that: RULE #3.
