COOKIES OF COURSE - Recipe Swap for October

  • October 31, 2007 · 7:00 PM

Continuing on - here we go. October has been requested for COOKIES!

This should be a great swap month just in time for all the cookie exchanges we all seem to find out about.

The regular deal is this. You have until OCTOBER 01 to sign up for the exchange, and then your pages will be due by the end of OCTOBER in time to either hand in if you can at the meetup even planned near the end of OCTOBER, or the November Coffee Meetup.

Something different for this month though. The idea was passed on that we should make this not only a recipe card, but also a sampling party of the recipes that we do. Depending on how many people are signed up - why don't we make up a batch of cookies with enough to share with each of the participants of your yummy creation?
For example - if there are 16 people involved, you would need to bring with you 16 cookies to hand out.

Please write in your comments if you would like to participate.

Pages are 8x8 only, and the actual recipe should be printed so it is legible. Please email Hayley or Jo.S if you have any questions. An example page is under Photos. (It's the BBQ page)

You do not have to attend the actual meetup events to participate in this swap - it can be done by mail, you will have to email me direct for instructions, but the gist of it is - you'll have to mail me your pages and include a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) for me to send you back your pages from everyone else. Remember to include enough postage for your return. (Ususally the same as yours, plus a bit extra - if not used it would be returned - SO DONT STICK YOUR POSTAGE ON YOUR RETURN ENVELOPE, JUST PUT IT IN A BAGGIE!!!

This should be a great exchange!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
