A pretty small example

  • Mar 25, 2013 · 6:00 PM

What: David talks about how scrum worked like a charm in his previous startup.

Why: Introducing scrum in a large organisation can be hard. Perhaps it can be inspiring with an example of how scrum can work on a smaller scale when it is not disputed.

How: David will talk for 20 minutes and then we will divide into groups and see if there is anything to be learned and reused from that experience. If there is, yay! If there isn't, there will still be beer.

When: talk starts around 18.20 since experience shows that it takes time to get beer and food.

Still not back in Sweden. Will be in Gothenburg 22 to 26 April, though, so if anyone is up for a ScrumBeers lunch ping me on Twitter or something.

Hello everybody, thanks for coming! The three questions I posed were:
    1. How can you create similar circumstances (as the ones described in the introduction) to help your current organisation be scrumish?
    2. How would you go about searching for an organisation that offers a similar, circumstantial, environment?
    3. What political change (e.g. laws, tax code, etc) would increase the likelihood of organisations that offer the aforementioned beneficial circumstances?

Feel free to provide answers below.

PS. We have booked the room for April 22nd.
